Pre-Health
Many careers in healthcare require a graduate or professional degree. There are a variety of majors and minors that will prepare you for health professional graduate programs; however most of these programs require pre-requisite courses.
Students interested in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, physician assistant, and pharmacy programs should consult the Office of Pre-Health Advising and Mentoring in 160 Cox Science Center. Additionally, students should refer to the Pre-Health Guidelines provided by this Office and attend their programs. Students interested in other areas including Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Public Health should meet with an advisor in the School of Nursing and Health Studies. You can find more information about professional schools here.
