What is the Virtual Career Day?

During this one day virtual event, you will be able to connect with local and national companies seeking to hire University of Miami students and alumni.  Internship and full-time opportunities from a variety of industries will be available.

Each job seeker will be able to view an employer’s full profile page, including information about the organization and career opportunities available. During the live event, you'll be able to join a booth, which will put you in line to engage in a one-on-one chat with a recruiter. Once you're connected, you'll be able to share your background and experience, discuss your resume, and ask questions.  

How it works:

  1. Register - Create your account and fill out the event registration form
  2. Explore- Login anytime before the event to learn more about participating employers
  3. Attend- On Wednesday, July 16th from 2-6pm, login to join live chat sessions 
  4. Connect- During the live event you will be matched in one-on-one timed chats with participating employers

Can I apply for positions? Do I need my resume?

Employers will be promoting their open positions with their organization and instructions on how to apply. 

Be sure to have an updated copy of your resume available to send to the employers.  Resume walk-in hours for the summer are Monday-Thursday from 2-4pm or you may upload them to HireACane (approval can take 3-5 business days).
