advice for new college graduates, and is the online complement to the Job Choices
job-search publications (available at the Toppel Career Center)

Starting your job search is an exciting prospect. Think about where your major may take you and your areas of interest. Then, narrow down those areas and focus your job search. Start with the industry you are most interested in and select a few employers in that industry. Networking is key! Did you know that up to 80% of all jobs never get posted? Take some time to learn the “ABC’s of Networking."
Toppel has a variety of resources to help you in the job search process. The Interview Skills Guide has information on conducting company and industry research. The Resume Development Guide and Letter Writing Guide will help you write outstanding career-related documents.
