The Career Resource Library is a comprehensive career research facility within the
Toppel Career Center. This library contains extensive career-related materials including
books, magazines, periodicals, and newspapers. A complete listing of books in the

out by students for two weeks.
Our library features books on resume writing, interviewing, internships, and career
options. Directories of professional organizations and other reference volumes are
also at your disposal!
Keep track of industry trends and learn more about various careers in magazines
contain information on the world of business and are available in the Career Library
to assist you with your search! Free publications, such as The Black Collegian,
Graduate School Guide, Minority Engineer, Hispanic Business, Job Choices, and many
more are available in the Career Resource Library. Articles in these magazines provide
excellent insight into all facets of the job search process.
We currently have subscriptions to the following newspapers: The Chronicle of Higher
Education, Wall Street Journal, and South Florida Business Journal. All of these
can be found in the Career Resource Library.

In the Career Technology Lab, you can work on your resume, compose cover letters,
research companies, and evaluate graduate schools. Find information about companies
from their own corporate web sites, public company documents, government reports,
and a wealth of other career and job search information. Utilize HireACane to review
numerous online resources, create and update your resume, find internships, jobs
and sign-up for On-Campus Interviews, search job listings, and browse the hottest
career related web sites.
In addition, we offer the Strong Interest Inventory
and students will take the assessment in the Career Technology Lab. Call 305-284-5451
