University of Miami students and alumni are expected to uphold the highest level
of professional conduct when participating in on campus recruiting activities. They
are held accountable for inappropriate behavior such as not showing up for or cancelling
interviews, misrepresenting themselves, or any other behavior that is questionable.
As a result, students and alumni are a great representation of the University of
Miami.
The Toppel Career Center also expects that organizations participating in any recruiting
activities at the University of Miami to abide by legal and ethical principles.
To this end, we encourage employers to abide by and use the National Association
of Colleges and Employers’ Principles for Professional Conduct. To review these
principles and to access the many other resources NACE has to offer, please visit
