We host a variety of job and internship fairs to assist students in networking with
recruiters from a variety of industries. All students - freshmen to seniors - are
encouraged to attend these events because it is never too early to start the networking
process.
Career Expo, which encompasses all majors and industries, is held in September and
February. This event typically draws approximately 200 companies and over 1,000
students and alumni. Career Expo is an excellent opportunity to network with a large
number of candidates in one setting.
We also host a variety of smaller, industry-specific career fairs each year. These
fairs include Accounting, Architecture, Education, Non-Profit & Government, Nursing
& Health Sciences, and Marine & Natural Sciences. These events offer a more intimate
setting and are targeting to specific majors.
All of our career events are open to UM students and alumni only.
