- Individual advising is available free of charge to alumni who graduated
within the last year; there is a fee of $100 (includes five sessions) for alumni
who have been out for more than a year; or $25 fee for one, one-hour individual
advising session
- Phone appointments are available if you are unable to return to
campus
- Explore all the career options open to you; take an assessment
that can assist in helping you choose a career path and have an advisor review the
results with you
- Have your resume and/or cover letter, personal statement or other job search
documents reviewed & critiqued
- Do a mock interview (option of being taped) to practice your interviewing
skills for upcoming graduate school and job interviews
- Discuss and learn job search techniques and strategies
that would benefit your particular search
- Learn how to network effectively to land a job
- Learn about additional resources that exist through the career
center and the community to help you make the right career decisions
